
The primary cause of ADHD and depression is a deficiency of DHA from the alpha-linoleic pathway. DHA
is required for brain health. As Americans, we eat on the go lots of packaged, processed foods
containing trans fats. Trans fats are the major sabotaging agent. This man made chemical interferes with
your body's ability to create DHA from food the food you eat.
Incredibly most people do not eat whole foods, but food loaded with these Trans fats. It is estimated

The molecular shape of the Trans fat is T; the shape of healthy cell fat is C or Cis. Cell membranes are
links of C's. The half life of Cis fat is 18 days. Research has shown positive results in a pilot programs
participants in 3 weeks. The T shape of Trans fat creates altered cell membrane function.
With that said your body needs omega 3 fats, especially from fish oil, as they have DHA and EPA in them
and help restore the deficiency. You can add them to your diet, but supplementing is also
recommended, to see the best result. The research shows that you can note a change in 18 days of
increasing the good fats your body needs to help your brain function better. It is also a good idea to
reduce the bad fat in your diet. I use and recommend supplements from Nutrilite, as they have been
around for 75 years and filter out contaminants from the fish oil that is there from polluted waters. They
